Following the success of the 2011-2012 edition, the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and its partners have launched the second edition of Creative Encounters – Cultural Partnerships between Asia and Europe.
For this edition (2012-2013), ASEF is once again partnering with Arts Network Asia (ANA), an Asia-wide network of artists and arts organisations and welcomes a new partner, Trans Europe Halles (TEH) the European Network of Creative Arts Spaces, to support artistic collaborations between art and culture organisations in both Asia and Europe.
Through this initiative, ASEF has successfully fostered Asia-Europe partnerships and created opportunities for networking, cultural exchange, and co-operation between the two regions. The programme supports multi-lateral projects in various disciplines of contemporary arts including performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, film and new media as well as cross-disciplinary and networking projects.
