OVERVIEW
This meeting was held to plan activities that would match the network’s adopted recommendations.
For the meeting, the network gathered experts from eight countries — China, Denmark, Finland, France, Latvia, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand — to discuss collaborative projects and their corresponding mechanisms, procedures, and financing possibilities. Participants then agreed on a framework for carrying out research projects for the period of 2009-2010.
The meeting was co-ordinated by Prof. Xjanjin Dou, Director of the Lifelong Education National Centre for Education Development Research, Ministry of Education, China.
