At a time of great changes in the world, the economic and financial crisis has put Europe at the forefront, giving sometimes the impression of a European decline. Ambassador Pierre Sellal, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France, addressed these questions at the public lecture on 16 March 2012 at the Asia-Europe Foundation, organised by ASEF in partnership with the Embassy of France in Singapore.
