OVERVIEW
The ASEF provides funding to Pointe to Point alumni artists for specific follow-up projects, so as to:
– Facilitate the future development of dance research and collaboration
– Deepen connections among the Asia-Europe Dance Forum participants
– Assist promising alumni artists in realising collaborative projects
“Breaking Point(e)” was one of the projects funded by the ASEF. It was a residency project for creating a piece of work that would observe and examine the point of failure as a choreographic moment. In the course of the project, participating artists organised performances, workshops, and presentations where they invited audiences to follow the development of their process as well as share their thoughts on the project.
