OVERVIEW
This meeting brought together 92 participants from 22 ASEM member countries to discuss the implications of the knowledge-based economy on education. The meeting drew upon three particular communities who articulated different concerns: The policy makers, the knowledge-intensive industries, and the academe. These rich contributions gave rise to lively debates amongst the participants.
