The third edition of Model ASEM was held in Beijing, China. 135 students and recent graduates from 38 ASEM member states attended the event. The event was organised by ASEF in support of the 7th ASEM Summit and shared the same theme: “Vision And Action: Towards A Win-Wn Solution“. Participants engaged in discussions on issues that were high on the ASEM agenda, in an atmosphere that emphasised respect and tolerance.
By the end of the meeting, they agreed on a common Final Chair Statement, which summarised the contents of the discussions that took place and proposed initiatives to the leaders of the ASEM process.
