ASEF is pleased to announce the re-launch of its online arts and culture portal ASEF culture360 – http://culture360.ASEF.org.
ASEF’s web portal culture360.ASEF.org provides an information hub for arts and culture in Asia and Europe. The new platform features the latest technologies in terms of mobile browsing, user-centered design and state of the art search engine. In addition, ASEF culture360 follows the accessibility guidelines “WCAG 2.0 standards” that specify how to make content accessible, primarily for people with disabilities, but also for all “user agents”, including highly limited devices such as mobile phones.
Over the past decade, ASEF culture360 has been enabling easy access to relevant and reliable information for individual artists, arts organisations and policymakers across the ASEM region. It remains the only portal offering such a service in the ASEM context and has been recognised as a good model of information exchange between two regions by UNESCO, the UN’s agency for culture and the European Union .
With the NEW culture360.ASEF.org, ASEF continues to fulfil its central role in concretising the multi-lateral Asia-Europe partnerships through regular and sustained intellectual exchanges on arts and culture.
