OVERVIEW
This “The EU through the Eyes of Asia” project examines perceptions of Asians towards the EU. To date, the study has been carried out in nine research locations — China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam — with India, Macau, and Malaysia joining the latest phase of the research.
This Interim Methodology Workshop followed up on the training provided in the initial Methodology Workshop held in Kuala Lumpur in June 2009. Through the workshop, research co-ordinators evaluated the progress made and ensured that data collected was of the highest standard. Participants at the workshop included the major research partners Jawaharlal Nehru University, University of Macau, and the Asia-Europe Institute – University of Malaya.
