In September 2014, the Asia-Europe Environment Forum (ENVforum) hosted a high-profile Conference in Brussels, Belgium that examined the most pressing issues in the post-2015 development agenda.
The key focus of the high-level event was on innovative financing options that might be employed to make the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a reality. As part of the ENVforum contribution to the debate surrounding the means of implementation, the event also examined key governance challenges.
The Conference brought together leading experts from both Asia and Europe and the event included participation from representatives from ASEAN, the OECD, the European Commission, the European Environmental Agency, UN DESA and UNIDO
The ENVforum’s latest research publication Sustainable Development Goals and Indicators for a Small Planet – Part II: Measuring Sustainability was launched at the conference. (Please refer to the “Project Updates” section below for more information)
