The colloquium `Satellite TV: A Bridge between Asia and Europe’ with Mr. Patrick Imhaus was held in Singapore on 7th April, 1998. Mr. Imhaus, President of French satellite TV channel, TV5, and of Bruges Group, an association of major European public satellite channels, visited Singapore to lauch TV5’s new operations in Singapore.

Mr. Imhaus focused on how the understanding of different cultures could be enhanced through a greater exchange of media technology and information between countries.
