OVERVIEW
This forum brought together 38 participants from youth organisations in Asia and Europe to discuss areas for closer co-operation. Participants agreed to form a working group on Asia-Europe Youth Co-operation (AEYC) that would serve as a network for information exchange and co-operation, and they explored proposals for future Asia-Europe youth activities, as well as identified potential partners.
The participants also pledged to promote youth exchanges between Asia and Europe in the following ways:
– Facilitating participation of young people in joint youth programmes
– Working to eliminate obstacles to mobility
– Supporting youth projects through resource allocation
