OVERVIEW
For this training programme, 26 participants and six trainers gathered to explore the necessary skills required to implement voluntary service projects and stimulate active participation, especially among youths. The participants represented 23 ASEM countries and a variety of organisations active at the grassroots as well as the institutional level.
The week-long training programme consisted of workshops and group building exercises. Participants also ran workshops for evaluation purposes.
The programme was organised by the ASEF and the Alliance of Voluntary Service Organisations, in co-operation with the Network for Voluntary Development in Asia (NVDA).
