OVERVIEW
In this programme, participants explored the role of middle- and long-term voluntary service in today’s society. They exchanged ideas on youth empowerment and examined case studies on the relationship between voluntary service, youth empowerment, and social development. Participants also had a chance to explore Tokyo and visit sites that provided exposure to Japanese cultural heritage.
The training programme was designed for volunteers aged 18-40 from ASEM member countries, who were involved in middle- and long-term voluntary services.
