OVERVIEW

This forum was held to evaluate the changing global environment — as well as the media’s role — while providing a networking platform for journalists across Europe and Asia. Thirty-one journalists and publishers from leading news agencies participated in the forum, and they discussed the media’s perspective on September 11 events and the subsequent US-led war on terror. Participants also had the opportunity to pay an official visit to South Korean President Kim Dae-jung at the Blue House and meet with two presidential candidates, Roh Moo-hyun and Chung Mong-joon, at the forum.
