OVERVIEW
The AEVTP project consisted of international youth work camps and research on the following themes:
– HIV/AIDS
– The environment
– Human rights
– Conflict resolution
The project was carried out in four stages:
– An orientation meeting in Paris, France, in July 2007
– The actual activities, which took place from July to August 2007
– The collection of best practices and analysis of data gathered
– An evaluation seminar in Tokyo, Japan, in October 2007
The aims of the project were to create a database of youth organisations active in voluntary service in ASEM countries, so as to foster intercultural collaboration, promote active citizenship, and facilitate youth projects.
