ASEF Unplugged: Conversations on the Arts in Asia and Europe
ASEF’s work in culture: what we do & why we do what we do
ASEF Unplugged will be at the Lithuanian Council for Culture in Vilnius, Lithuania on 16 May 2019 at 14:00-16:00 for an afternoon of conversation about the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) and our work in culture.
ASEF Unplugged was launched in May 2018 in Prague, Czech Republic as an event series that offers an informal and intimate space for open, authentic conversations between participants on relevant topics of art, culture, and heritage.
Lithuania is a member of ASEF and its parent body, the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). ASEF’s Director for Culture, Anupama SEKHAR, will briefly present the programmes & opportunities available to Lithuanian artists, organisations and other stakeholders in the field of culture and art, including: providing information through the web pages of culture360.asef.org; providing travel grants for events in & artists from Lithuania; informing possibilities for capacity building and networking through the museum network ASEMUS; as well as about the possibility of organising events in Lithuania within ASEF’s work.
