The Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development in cooperation with Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is issuing a joint call for mobility support for artists and cultural professionals from the following Asian countries, who are looking to strengthen their cultural practice through connecting with their counterparts in both Asia and Europe:
Bangladesh | Malaysia |
Cambodia | Mongolia |
China | Myanmar |
India | Pakistan |
Indonesia | Philippines |
Kazakhstan | Thailand |
Lao PDR | Viet Nam |
-
- Emerging artists and cultural workers who are nationals/citizens of the countries listed above are encouraged to apply (indiv
- iduals or those representing independent cultural/artistic organisations)
- Priority is given to young artists within the first 10 years of their career, women artists and individuals representing minority groups
- Applications focusing on contemporary artistic and cultural disciplines including cultural capacity building are encouraged
The ASEF-Prince Claus Mobility call supports the cross-cultural exchange of artists and cultural practitioners within Asia and between the above listed countries and Europe.
The grant covers the travel costs for artistic and cultural mobility, such as economy class plane or train tickets.
By covering the travel costs, the Mobility call assists in the professional growth and networking abilities of those it supports. The call is specifically intended for emerging artists and cultural practitioners.
The Mobility Fund does not include accommodation, visa, transfer or per diem costs.
The mobility call will be open and accepting applications from March to 30 September 2020 (tentative).
Applications must be received at least 8 weeks before the intended date of travel; applications sent in later will unfortunately not be considered.
This joint call will be administered by the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development. Please read the application procedure, the Guidelines & Criteria and the questionnaire for the narrative report on the Prince Claus Fund website, which will be made available when the call opens.
