OVERVIEW
In this lecture tour series, speaker Ann-Cathrine Jungar addressed the lack of gender equality in the political sphere from a theoretical as well as a comparative perspective.
The tour kicked off in Singapore, where Jungar addressed a crowd of 75 and participated in a panel discussion together with Singapore Member of Parliament Irene Ng and Nominated Member of Parliament Jennifer Lee. The discussion was chaired by Assistant Professor Suzaina Kadir of the Political Science Department, National University of Singapore. The panelists also traded views with the audience, and topics discussed included policies that supported gender equality and whether or not men should be included in such policies.
