OVERVIEW
Established in 2001, The Asia-Europe Young Volunteers Exchange aims to foster mutual understanding, co-operation, and exchange between voluntary service organisations in Asia and Europe, in order to promote increased knowledge transfer between the two regions, and to work towards common quality standards. This instalment of the Young Volunteers Exchange brought together 15 participants from 11 ASEM member countries. Participants attended training sessions, including a “job shadowing” programme where they would observe a seasoned volunteer at work.
