OVERVIEW
The third instalment of the Young Volunteers Conference addressed three issues:
– The impact of voluntary service
– Its recognition at the national and regional level
– The creation and implementation of specific policies and institutional programmes on voluntary service in Asia and Europe
The overall aim of the conference was to measure the impact of the voluntary service and promote it as one of the main non-formal education tools in Asia and Europe. The conference gathered 24 decision makers aged 20-35 from international voluntary service organisations, holding key positions as staff or board members.
