OVERVIEW

The inaugural Asia-Europe Journalists Seminar brought together about 20 journalists from Asia and Europe to discuss the philosophies, methods, and challenges involved in European integration. The objective was to enhance the participants’ knowledge and enable more accurate reporting.

The five-day seminar consisted of lectures and discussions with senior staff and office holders of relevant European Union institutions and NATO, as well as a visit to the International Federation of Journalists. Ambassador Guan Cheng Yuan of China also hosted a dinner at the Embassy of China, Brussels, where lively discussions took place.
