AEEF12, entitled Global Governance of Public Goods: Asian and European Perspectives, took place on 1-2 October 2015 in Paris, France. The event was jointly organised by host Centre d’Etudes Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales (CEPII), Bruegel and Bertelsmann Stiftung on the European side, and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Korea University (CEAS) on the Asian side, with the support of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF).
The Conference brought together various different high-ranking participants, including active and former senior policymakers, recognized academic experts and private sector specialists, to discuss key economic issues relevant to Asia and Europe. Topics under discussion included global economic imbalances, slowdown in international trade, monetary policymaking, the multilateral economic system, and the economics of climate change.
The AEEF consortium consists of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), Bertelsmann Stiftung, Bruegel (overall secretariat), Centre d’Etudes Prospectives et d’Informations Internationales (CEPII), Institute of World Economic and Politics – Chinese Academy for Social Sciences (IWEP-CASS), and Korea University.
