ASEF at the International Youth Forum 

ASEF delivered a presentation on its youth related activities at the 22nd International Youth Forum in Seoul, South Korea (18 August 2011). The event was hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Republic of Korea. It was organised by the National Council of Youth Organizations, Korea. 

 

 
   

Asia-Europe Classroom (AEC) Awards finalists announced

 

Six AEC projects were shortlisted from 33 entries to contend for the AEC Awards to be presented at the upcoming 10th Asia-Europe Classroom Network Conference. Teachers and student representatives from these groups will be invited to present their projects this November in Ireland.

Through ASEF, civil society concerns are included as a vital component of deliberations of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM). ASEF was established in February 1997 by the participating governments of ASEM and has since implemented over 500 projects, engaging over 15,000 direct participants as well as reaching out to a much wider audience in Asia and Europe.
