4th ASEF University: Social Changes in Asia and Europe in the Age of Globalisation

This publication is the outcome of the 4^th ASEF University on ”Social Changes in Asia and Europe in the Age of Globalisation”, held in Singapore from 14^th to 27^th January 2001. Contributors from the disciplines of economics, political science, and sociology examine key factors influencing the pace of globalisation, as well as how these fast-paced changes affect people, institutions, and social values.
