A Gender Agenda

Since 2005, the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) has been managing the arts website, culture360.ASEF.org, which acts as a ‘one-stop shop’ for arts information for freelance artists, cultural professionals and non-profit arts organisations.

Goals

• Offer a mobile-friendly and user-centred website with publicly-accessible information on arts, culture and heritage in Asia & Europe (SDG 16.10 access to information)
• Create new knowledge products on less-represented countries and artistic disciplines
• Support the visibility of innovative arts events from under-represented countries, regions & artistic disciplines through media partnerships
• Channel civil society views on digital access to UNESCO every 2 years (SDG 17.17 civil society partnerships)

Activities

• The website provides weekly updates on arts news, events and funding opportunities aggregated from across the worldwide web & features a magazine with commissioned articles
