The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) will soon launch the 2nd edition of the e-publication, ‘Mobility Funding Guide: Funding Opportunities for International Cultural Exchange in Asia’. The guide is a part of an on-going initiative that provides up-to-date mobility-related information to artists on culture360.org.
Through the guide, artists and cultural practitioners are able to readily access information on different types of mobility funding (such as artists’ residencies or production grants) within different artistic disciplines.
The guides are organised in three sections:
- 18 country guides that map opportunities in Asian member countries of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM);
- A regional guide for Asian nationals looking for opportunities within Asia and internationally;
- An international guide that covers opportunities for cultural professionals (of all nationalities) to come to Asia as well as for schemes for Asian nationals to undertake international exchange.
This initiative was commissioned by ASEF and supported by the Arts Network Asia, Korea Arts Management Service, Japan Centre, Pacific Basin Arts Communications, and the Tokyo Performing Arts Market.
