To mark the Asian launch of the handbook, “Good Policing: Instruments, Models and Practices”, ASEF organised the public briefing, “Who will Guard the Guards Themselves? Human Rights and Accountability in Policing – Asian and European Experiences” on 28 April 2011 at the Hotel Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta. This briefing was organised in partnership with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) and in collaboration with United Nations for Drug and Crime (UNODC) and Commission for the Disappeared and Victims of Violence (KONTRAS).
