On 5 September 2016, ASEF and Le Havre Campus of Sciences Po will co-organise the European launch of the ASEF Outlook Report 2016/2017 on “Connectivity: Facts and Perspectives” in Le Havre, France. This 3rd edition of ASEF’s Outlook Report explores selected thematic areas, covering digital connectivity, the economics of connectivity, and connectivity in the media, culture, education and governance fields.
In Le Havre, the host Mr Florent BONAVENTURE, Director of Sciences Po Le Havre Campus, will welcome participants. The Guest of Honour is Ambassador Claude BLANCHEMAISON, ASEF’s Governor for France. There will be a panel discussion on Asia-Europe Connectivity: Reflecting on the Past, Preparing for the Future, featuring 3 contributors to the 2nd volume of the report on Connecting Asia and Europe Professor Sophie ROCHEFORT-GUILLOUET, Professor at Le Havre Campus of Sciences Po, Professor Jean-Louis MARGOLIN, Senior Lecturer at Aix-Marseilles University, and Mr Thierry SCHWARZ, formerly ASEF’s Director of Political & Economic Department. They will share their views on the changing facets of Asia-Europe connectivity and address some of the main challenges that Asia and Europe are likely to face in the future.
The Asian launch of the ASEF Outlook Report 2016/2017 took place on 7 July 2016 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, in conjunction with the 7th Model ASEM on the occasion of the 11th ASEM Summit.
