ASEM Lifelong Learning Hub Research Network(RN)4 Conference
Engaging Young People in Lifelong Learning – Asian and European Policies and Practices
1 & 2 December 2015
The ASEM LLL Hub Conference is a free all day public event for researchers, policy makers and practitioners. In a context of high levels of youth disengagement and unemployment, we invite all those involved in teaching, educational leadership, research and policy to share their thinking and experience on policies and practices that support young people’s multiple transitions.
Recognition of the importance of lifelong learning as a disposition in young people is crucial to support the transitions of young people, including those still in schools, into further education and the labour market. This Forum will provide opportunities to debate the effectiveness of national policies, institutional practices and the merits of alternative pathways from formal schooling to employment.
When: 1 December, 09:00-18:00 & 2 December from 09:00-12:15
