The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) will organise a public launch of the ASEF Outlook Report 2014/2015: Divergences in Asia, Disunion in Europe: Cross-perception Views in conjunction with the Model ASEM Singapore 2015. This event is a follow-up to a previous launch held at the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Senior Officials’ Meeting during its 10th ASEM Summit (ASEM10) in October 2014 in Milan, Italy.
The ASEF Outlook Report 2014/2015 offers an analysis of emerging global and regional challenges associated with sustainable growth and development. While Volume I: Facts at Glance provides data that will allow the reader to better understand the political and socio-economic conditions in ASEM countries as well as the differences and similarities between them, Volume II: Perspectives on Sustainable Development offers in-depth insights into selected priority areas, including inequality, migrants’ health, education, creative industries, quality of growth and employment, in the light of trends in sustainable development and growth.
