Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam will be among the first Asian countries to be featured in the recently launched WorldCP – International Database of Cultural Policies. The database, supported by ASEF, will significantly enhance access to current information on arts and cultural policies, as well as trends in various ASEM countries. It will also promote exchange and dialogue on policymaking.
WorldCP is promoted by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) and a consortium of partners from around the world. ASEF’s support for this database is through its Asia-Europe Compendium of Cultural Policies programme.
The Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, Singapore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, South Korea; and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam, are the national partners in this year’s project. Mr Anmol Vellani, Executive Director for India Foundation for the Arts will serve as the Regional Editor for Asia.
