Several exciting new developments to read about in this month’s newsletter. A major exhibition on ThePhilippines archipelago opened in April 2013 at the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris. It is the result of a collaboration between several ASEMUS member museums in both Paris and Manila. Also, an exhibition showcasing works from the Peranakan Museum in Singapore opened in March 2013 at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul.
In addition, the Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Anthropology Center, Thailand, has announced the Intangible Cultural Heritage and Museums Field School 2013: Mapping Intangible Culture in Surin Province to be held on 6-18 August 2013.
