ASEF’s film information platform, film.culture360.org, was presented as a valuable tool for documentary filmmakers at the DocNet Strategy Seminar in Phnom Penh on 31 March 2013.
film.culture360.org offers quick and easy access to news, announcements and opportunities for filmmakers in Asia and Europe. It is part of ASEF’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to film professionals across Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) countries.
The portal was presented at the Strategy Seminar by Ms Anupama SEKHAR, ASEF’s Deputy Director for Cultural Exchange. The seminar gathered over 50 film professionals, including young filmmakers, commercial producers, representatives of TV stations, governmental film board officials, film schools, foundations and NGOs to discuss the advancement of the documentary film sector in Southeast Asia.
