The ASEF Capacity Building Workshop Advancing Inclusion in International Higher Education in ASEAN brought together 33 participants representing all 10 ASEAN countries.
Two ASEF Young Reporters were selected to cover this 5-week Capacity Building Workshop, Ms Tashryn Mohd Shahrin and Ms Paundria Dwijastuti. Both young reporters interviewed participants and the facilitators to gain a better idea of how inclusion and internationalisation are understood, what opportunities can be leveraged in the new future, and what strategies can universities consider to advance inclusion in international higher education. These insights are reflected in their written work.

Both Ms Shahrin and Ms Dwijastuti worked together to produce the Summary Report of the project. This report features insights from the sessions of the project which focused on value propositions, activities and resources, mapping stakeholders, measuring outcomes and impacts, and the action plans, all within the context of advancing inclusion in international higher education in ASEAN.
Experts, speakers, facilitators, and peers provided plenty of food for thought that encouraged a vibrant discussion on inclusion in international higher education (View the Recorded Presentations of Experts, click here). These interesting discussions are brought to light in the aforementioned articles written by the young reporters. To read more about ASEF Higher Education Projects, visit the ASEFEdu Blog, click here.
