On 18th November, ASEF Executive Director Mr MORIKAWA Toru, participated in the G-global conference “The world of the XXI century” organised by Kazakhstan.
G-Global is a dialogue platform, part of the Astana Economic Forum, aimed at consolidating all interested countries in improving the sustainability of the global economy, the effectiveness of its management, wide discussion and search for solutions to global and regional security, inclusive development and human capital.
On the online forum, Mr MORIKAWA highlighted the inter-connectedness of the world and valuable lessons on the importance of knowing more about each other. He underlined the need to work together to solve major problems that affect all of us.
Executive Director Mr MORIKAWA assured participants that ASEF stood ready to do our part together with partners like Kazakhstan, and the countries of Eurasia, in this endeavour.
Kazakhstan is a crossroad for diverse people and civilizations, and it has been playing a unique role, connecting Asians and Europeans geographically and intellectually. Kazakhstan is an active ASEM Member since 2014.
