ASEF brings cultural experts to 7th World Summit on Art & Culture 2016

The 7th World Summit on Art & Culture will be held on 18-21 October 2016 in Valletta, Malta. The Summit is organised every two or three years by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA), of which 32 ASEM Ministries of Culture are members. The aim of the Summit is to provide National Arts Councils, Ministries of Culture and other agencies the opportunity to discuss key issues of public support for the arts and creativity. The Summit is attended by more than 300 culture professionals and policymakers.

At the Summit, ASEF is holding the 3rd ASEF Policy Panel titled What Role for Culture in Foreign Policy: How Important is the Relationship between Culture and International Relations?

In addition, ASEF is supporting cultural experts as Speakers at parallel panel discussions at the Summit, including:
