ASEF at ASEM Senior Officials’ Meeting in Brussels

The Executive Director of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF), Ambassador ZHANG Yan, attended the ASEM Senior Officials’ Meeting (ASEM SOM) on 10-11 September 2015 in Brussels, Belgium.

The purpose of this ASEM SOM was to prepare for the 12^th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM FMM12) to be held on 5-6 November 2015 in Luxembourg and to discuss key ASEM issues, such as the celebration of the 20^th Anniversary of ASEM in 2016 and the future of the ASEM Process.

Amb. ZHANG presented to the ASEM Senior Officials the major events that ASEF will be organising in support of the ASEM FMM12, including the 1^st ASEF Young Leaders’ Summit, the 10^th ASEF Journalists’ Colloquium, and the ASEF Photo Exhibition.
