Mr MORIKAWA Toru (Japan), ASEF Executive Director, and Ambassador Leon FABER (Luxembourg), ASEF Deputy Executive Director, has assumed office on 27 August 2020. They were elected by the ASEF Board of Governors on 11 June 2020 for four-year terms as ASEF’s new Executive Management.

Mr MORIKAWA Toru (Japan) was elected as the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF)’s new Executive Director, and Ambassador Leon FABER (Luxembourg) was elected its new Deputy Executive Director, at ASEF’s 41st Board of Governors’ Meeting (ASEFBoG41) on 11 June 2020. ASEF’s leadership alternates between Asia and Europe every four years.
