ASEF continues to engage in conversations on cultural policy and to stress the unique role of arts and culture sectors in connecting people within and beyond borders.
Amb. Toru MORIKAWA opened the Global Conversation “Decolonising and diversifying internationalisation: from theory to practice” on 18 October in the frame of 2022 ENCATC Congress “Internationalization in cultural education, research, policy, and practices: theoretical, strategic and management perspectives”.
Amb. MORIKAWA, as ASEF’s Executive Director, highlighted the importance of maintaining dialogue, exchange ideas and collaborate in the current geopolitical context and post-pandemic world.

The congress took place in Antwerp and Brussels on the 17-19 October 2022 and was attended by an international audience of educators, researchers, professionals, policy makers, artists and students.
