16 June 2020
1. The Singapore multi-ministry taskforce has announced that Phase Two of the COVID-19 easing measures will commence on 19 June 2020.
2. ASEF is permitted to re-open our workplace beginning 19 June 2020.
3. To prevent transmission at the workplace, ASEF will abide by the nation-wide requirement of telecommuting.
4. Most ASEF staff will continue to work from home and remain contactable.
5. Operations continue via digital means.
19 May 2020
1. The Singapore multi-ministry taskforce announced on 19 May 2020 that Circuit Breaker measures will be lifted gradually to allow businesses to resume workplace activities in a phased manner.
2. ASEF is not included in the first phase of Circuit Breaker lifting, which will commence on 2 June 2020.
3. ASEF Staff will continue to work from home until further notice and will remain contactable.
4. Operations continue via digital means.
21 April 2020
1. On 21 April 2020, the Singapore Multi-Ministry Taskforce announced the extension of the Circuit Breaker to 1 June 2020.
2. In line with the extension, the ASEF premises will remain closed until 1 June 2020 (date inclusive).
3. All staff will continue to work from home during this period and will remain contactable.
4. Operations continue via digital means.
3 April 2020
The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is based in Singapore.
1. On 3 April 2020, the Singapore Multi-Ministry Taskforce announced the implementation of an elevated set of safe distancing measures to minimise the further spread of COVID-19.
2. In line with these measures, ASEF will be closing our premises from Tuesday, 7 April 2020 to Monday, 4 May 2020 (both dates inclusive).
3. All staff will be working from home during this period and will remain contactable.
