ASEF is currently accepting artistic project proposals under its Creative Encounters: Cultural Partnerships between Asia and Europe programme. If you have an excellent idea for a multilateral artistic project, send us your proposal before 15 July 2011.
Creative Encounters, ASEF’s programme that fosters partnerships between arts organisations in Asia and Europe, will support a maximum of three artistic projects facilitating collaboration, dialogue and exchange between Asia and Europe. Projects may be in any discipline of contemporary arts (e.g. performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, film and new media arts) or cross-disciplinary projects. The selected projects are expected to be realised between November 2011 and November 2012.
Interested organisations are invited to submit their proposals between 1 June and 15 July 2011. The call for proposals and the application form are available here. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit detailed proposals by the mid-August 2011. Selected projects will be announced in October 2011.
This new initiative aims to support arts organisations in the two regions to form collaborative alliances and undertake projects showcasing the cultural diversity of Asia and Europe. It is organised by ASEF together with Arts Network Asia (ANA), an Asia-wide network of artists and arts organisations.
